The sequel to MapleStory, the most popular side-scrolling 2D online role-playing game, is finally visiting regions beyond South Korea.

MapleStory 2, which publisher Nexon America exhibited Saturday in Los Angeles for the fan event MapleStory Fest, ditches the pixelated 2D visuals from the original game for any blocky 3D world, à la Minecraft or Trove.
