Diablo designer David Brevik joins the Path of Exile team

Diablo 2 project and design lead David Brevik tweeted the other day that he was as an "adviser" upon an action-RPG that "pushes this genre to new heights." The internet immediately freaked out within the possibility of Brevik coming POE Currency time for Diablo, especially since Blizzard has become teasing a Diablo announcement of some sort for that upcoming BlizzCon. However it's not Diablo he's working away at, as Brevik quickly clarified, though the free-to-play indie hit Path of Exile.

The news release announcing his participation is Chinese, and therefore, the Google translation is definitely an absolute train wreck of language and syntax, even so the gist of it truly is that Brevik has signed around help Grinding Gear Games bring the overall game to China. Studio boss Chris Wilson confirmed the matter with PC Invasion, saying, "David can be an advisor, primarily for your launch in mainland China, but we hope to find out from his experience just as much as we could over the coming months.”

So now could. It's not quite as exciting to be a return to Blizzard for Diablo 4, but it really could still mean cool things ahead for the ARPG that's already very good—plus it doesn't close the door about the potential for big Diablo news the following month, either.  Now more ways to Buy POE Items, as an example, visit official MMOAH site.
