Final Digimon Adventure tri. Film's Visual Shows Omegamon/Omnimon's New Form

The official website for your Digimon Adventure tri. anime film project unveiled a whole new visual on Friday. The visual shows the principle human characters which has a new kind of Omegamon/Omnimon named "Omegamon Merciful Mode."

The website also posted a youtube video recapping the very first five films spanning a preview on the new ending theme. (Note: The video within the website is region-locked to Japan as well as a region-free version is below.) The film's ending theme are going to be the franchise's representative "Butter-Fly" song together with DMO Gold the title "Butter-Fly ~tri.Version~." The singers on the song are the "DigiDestined" (Natsuki Hanae, Suzuko Mimori, Yoshimasa Hosoya, Mutsumi Tamura, Hitomi Yoshida, Junya Enoki, Junya Ikeda, M.A.O, Miho Arakawa), the "Digimon Singers" (Chika Sakamoto, Katori Shigematsu, Mayumi Yamaguchi, Takahiro Sakurai, Kinoko Yamada, Miwa Matsumoto, Junko Takeuchi, Yuka Tokumitsu, Yukiko Morishita), Ayumi Miyazaki, and AiM. Additionally, the song features late singer Kouji Wada's singing voice.

The film will open in Japan on May 5 and can screen for three weeks. As with previous films within the series, theaters screening the film may also sell a limited-edition Blu-ray Disc. The film will even be offered to stream online to get a fee about the same day in Japan.

Digimon Adventure tri.- Chapter 1: Reunion opened in November 2015, Digimon Adventure tri.- Chapter 2: Determination opened in March 2016, Digimon Adventure tri.- Chapter 3: Confession opened in September 2016, Digimon Adventure tri.- Chapter 4: Loss opened in February 2017, and Digimon Adventure tri.- Chapter 5: Coexistence opened on September 30.

Crunchyroll began streaming all five films around the same day which they premiered in Japan.

Shout! Factory has released the primary three films for home video, plus it confirmed earlier this year that it has licensed your fourth film, all of which will release it on DVD as well as a Blu-ray Disc/DVD combo pack on April 24.

Fathom Events and Toei Animation are screening your fourth, fifth, and sixth films in theaters inside the United States with the English dub.
