Digimon: The digivolution of the saga

Digimon has always been the big loser, things as they are. Nintendo knew how to play their cards very well with Pokémon, making it not only an emblematic videogame saga, but also a money machine with anime, manga, movies, stuffed animals, etc. While it is true that in the field of gaming the brand has diversified, it has never bet so much and so bravely on its deliveries as Digimon, a franchise that has gone through many hands and has offered us the most varied titles.

That mess we were talking about is none other than stopping the feet of a terrorist organization, A.o.A., that manages to hack the servers and leave the minds of the players trapped in the digital world -shout that Team Rocket-. During our journey we must fight and strengthen our team of 3 Digimon both in the fighting, as in the gyms with the points of effort generated and even equipping them with all kinds of objects to increase their characteristics. To the classic weakness table we must add the extra table with which Digimon plays; not only is the element taken into account (fire, lightning, water ...) but it is also important to know the type of Digimon, which can be Data, Virus or Vaccine.

To this new depth we must add the complicated digivolutions tree of each Digimon and the necessary requirements to unlock each one of them. And is that in this game was necessary to gather a good guide to control the strongest digimon because in its more than 50 hours of main story the level of difficulty increased insanely forcing us to farm not only experience but also equipment. Digimon World 2003 had a huge mapping divided into 4 zones, to which we had to add its hardcore version on the Amaterasu server, the routes under the sea that we would travel with Submarimon and the labyrinthine subsoil of the region that allowed us to move quickly from one place to another.

In addition, the game included an optional card minigame of the most complete, so we could face hundreds of players with our Digimon Masters Online Currency best deck. And it is a real shame, since this game today would have its audience thanks to its 2.5D graphics similar to those of Octopath Traveler, its enormous difficulty - the Dark Souls of digimon - and its tons of postgame content. If you want a real challenge, do not hesitate to give it a try.
