Activision/Vivendi leave ESA, skip E3

Yesterday, selected members with the gaming press were sent an invite to register for this current year's E3 Media & Business Summit. The invitation offered a nontransferable registration towards the 2008 event, that may return the Los Angeles Convention Center from July 15 to 17. It didn't take very long for targeted traffic to notice that though Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft were all listed as participating companies, several high-profile publishers didn't appear within the list.
